The 2010 Barclays Scottish Open starts today with the biggest names in golf teeing off at stunning Loch Lomond Golf Club. The event will run from July 8 to July 11. Defending champion Martin Kaymer of Germany hopes to win it again this year.

American golfer Phil Mickelson also will take his shot at the title. Landing a first or second place will make him the number 1 golfer in the world, replacing Tiger Woods in the rankings.
