Chrome Web Store Revealed

Google launched the Chrome Web Store today at the Google I/O event. The Chrome Web Store is a web-based app store. The store will feature a gallery of apps, which can then be added to a customized tab.

Sundar Pichai, Google’s vice president of product management said “Apps in the Chrome Web Store can be built on standard Web technologies like Flash and we will support all of them in the Chrome Web Store.”
