NASCAR Hall of Fame Grand Opening
The NASCAR Hall of Fame Grand Opening is scheduled for May 11, 2010. The NASCAR Hall of Fame is a state-of-the-art facility which honors NASCAR icons and creates an enduring tribute to the drivers, crew members, team owners and others that have impacted the sport in the past, present and yet to come. The NASCAR Hall of Fame will include exhibit space, a Great Hall, a Hall of Honor, interactive entertainment, restaurant, retail outlet, and a state-of-the-art media center for the industry. The NASCAR Hall of Fame’s mission will be to “preserve, protect and present” the complete history of the sport of NASCAR.
The NASCAR Hall of Fame is one component of a 5.5 acre NASCAR Hall of Fame Complex, located in uptown Charlotte, adjacent to the Charlotte Convention Center.
