iPad Cellular Data Problem: Please validate the highlighted address information and retry
Did you get this message “Please validate the highlighted address information and retry” when you tried signing up for your iPad Cellular Data account for AT&T 3G? I did. This really is pissing me off. I have been trying to sign up for the unlimited ATT 3G access for my iPad but to no avail. The error message keeps on appearing.
I am not using a PO Box address for my credit card. I have been using the same address for so long without any problem, until now.
There are not so many solutions posted online to help me with this except one from forums.macrumors.com that says:
The senior rep said they have had cases like this and it is becuase the servers are getting backed up and throwing strange errors. So restore the device as new and wait until tomorrow afternoon to try again when they are not so busy.
So how long should I wait? Is AT&T aware of this?

I’m having the same problems and talked to apple and AT&T. Apple had me restart the IPad and call AT&T. AT&T told me to wait a couple of hours and try again. Hope it works. This is the whole reason i bought the IPad.

Same exact problem here. I talked with AT&T and Apple and I was told to check with my bank but that’s the only address associated with my credit card and I’ve never had a problem before. Sure hope AT&T fixes this problem soon because I would hate to think I have paid so much for 3G to wind up not able to get it because of something stupid like this.
UPDATE: I was finally able to acquire a cellular data plan. I don’t known if the form was updated or what but I never noticed the option for a “Service” address before, so I filled in my mother’s address which is in a better range for AT&T connection and it worked.
