Yazoo City Tornado – Mississippi Tornado Touchdown

The National Weather Service confirmed that a tornado hit Yazoo City in Mississippi, Saturday. Houses had been flattened according to Fire Chief Roy Wilson who told CNN.

Linda Green, a dispatcher with the Issaquena County Sheriff’s Department, said there was minimal damage in the area around Valley Park, and a few power lines were down. Valley Park is in Issaquena County, while Yazoo City is in Yazoo County.
