If you are from Iowa and Wisconsin, did you see the meteor shower last night? There were reports of people being amazed to see a meteor shower lighting up the Wednesday night. Telegraph Herald reported that the Gamma Virginids shower began around 10:15 p.m.

I saw one about half this bright that burned just as long here in northern colorado on monday night. also it went from west to east in the northern sky.
Can anyone tell me the direction that this would have been travel? I live in Pendleton, NY (20min) SE of Niagara Falls, NY. Last night around 9:00pm we heard & felt what I would classify as a sonic boom – the house shook and that was it? Any chance that this could have been related to this meteor shower?
