Tony Awards 2010 Nominations – Nominees Announcement on May

The 2010 Tony Awards will be telecast on CBS, live from Radio City Music Hall, on Sunday, June 13, 2010, in a three-hour show beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Tony Awards 2010 Nominations Announcement, presented by IBM, will take place on Tuesday, May 4, 2010.

The cut-off for nomination eligibility on the 2008-2009 Broadway Season will be April 29, 2010.

Presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, the awards honor theatre professionals and distinguished achievement on Broadway. Known formally as the Antoinette Perry Awards, the Tonys are bestowed annually on theatre professionals for distinguished achievement. The Tony is one of the most coveted awards in the entertainment industry and the annual telecast is considered one of the most prestigious programs on television.
