I was flipping channels and saw that “25th Hour” was about to end. I turned to FX to catch the final scene, Brian Cox’s outstanding monologue, but the jerks had edited it almost beyond comprehension. They stripped down this glorious nine-minute scene down to a paltry three (if that). Spike Lee and David Benioff would not approve! Needless to say, nor do I.
