Current Snowfall Totals – Washington DC Snowfall
The worse weather conditions in some parts of the U.S. have been breaking snow records. In the Washington D.C., for instance, current snowfall totals for the surrounding regions are reported to be 24 inches. That is a historic record. More snow even is expected for the area today and snow totals will surely further increase.
In Maryland, electric company for the area reported up to 34,000 people are currently without power after restoring power to thousands more.
On Friday, schools and businesses had sent people home for the day in anticipation of the storm as forecasters were predicting between two to three feet in snowfall totals.
