San Diego Earthquake today

A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck off the coast near San Diego this afternoon.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries from the temblor, which the U.S. Geological Survey reported was centered 43 miles west of San Diego.

The quake, considered minor, struck at a depth of 5 miles below the ocean floor.

According to the USGS, the quake was felt in San Diego, Laguna Beach, San Clemente and Anaheim, among other places.
