Free golf carts for everyone this holiday season. There is an IRS ruling that many golf carts qualify for the electric-car credit. Great news for avid golfers who would like to have one. The upside is you don’t even have to be Tiger Woods to own one.

Now that the federal credit provides from $4,200 to $5,500 for the purchase of an electric vehicle. When it is combined with similar incentive plans in many states, the tax credits can pay for nearly the entire cost of a golf cart.
