U.S. runners dominated the Grandmas Marathon 2009 in Duluth, Minnesota Saturday morning. It is the first American sweep of Grandma’s Marathon since 1994.
Chris Raabe won the men’s division in 2 hours, 15 minutes, 13 seconds. Mary Akor won the women’s race for the third consecutive year. She finished the race in 2:36:51.
Kenya’s men runner dominated the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon in the 33rd running of Grandma’s Marathon this morning. Ernest Kebenei finished first in 1:05:17. The women’s division was won by Belainesh Gebre of Ethiopia at 1:11:58.
