Hey, to whom may i send a press release :
    subject is:
Exene Cervenka, X’s Queen of Punk, has just released an indie short movie she shot almost 25 years ago! Her friend, and partner on the movie, Modi Frank – is an award winning director who has shot several landmark music videos over her career as well (Jane’s Addiction, Henry Rollins, etc).

A previously unreleased cowboy satire, “Bad Day” features legendary X front man John Doe, Grammy Award winner Dave Alvin, Oscar-winning writer Michael Blake with a comedic performance by Academy Award winner, Kevin Costner.

You can check out the movie trailer at http://www.baddaymovie.com

Also worth noting Exene and Modi care greatly about the environment, specifically, they are directly trying to raise awareness and funds to help those affected on the gulf coast. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a Gulf Coast aid organization that helps the people affected by the oil spill (and Katrina) as well as the wetlands — called Committee for Plaquemines Recovery (http://cprrebuilds.org/).
