Netflix Locust Series Is All About Naked Sex Scenes and Torrid Love Affair

Lately, I have been liking a number of Netflix’s non-English TV series. First I was stuck with the Turkish drama series Kurt Seyit ve Sura. Now, I am stuck with the 2014 Russian series called Locust (aka Sarancha in Russian TV) after if was released in August 2017 for U.S. viewers. Netflix describes the show as “a torrid affair between a passionate lowborn poet and a wealthy Moscow heiress is engulfed by class difference, criminality and, eventually, murder.” The poet was played by actor Pyotr Fyodorov and the wealthy Moscow heiress was played by actress Paulina Andreeva.

Locust has only four 50-minute length episodes. Short but worth watching. It is called the first erotic thriller in Russia.

Story starts with a summer fling between a provincial guy and a big-city girl. The holiday is over, the beauty returns to the city and receives a marriage proposal from a rich admirer. The provincial boy comes back being unable to let her go. Things get messy when their passion oversteps all the limits. Soon contemporary Romeo and Juliet get confused about what is really important turning into consuming ‘Locust’: overwhelming love they have leads them to commit brutal murders.

Indeed, the drama is erotic, with naked sex scenes and torrid love affair between the lead actors in all 4 episodes.

Here are screenshots (warning: a lot of nudity):
