La’Porsha Renae’s Single “Battles” Gets Gold Medal Mix

American Idol 15 runner-up, La’Porsha Renae rerecorded her coronation single, “Battles” to be used during the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics as the theme song for the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics Team.

La’Porsha told Billboard magazine “I wasn’t even the winner of the show, so I felt very honored to be afforded this opportunity.”
