Statues Adorn Underwater Museum in Lanzarote, Spain

Hundreds of statues were being lowered to depths of 15 meters off the coast of Lanzarote, Spain, as part of what will be Europe’s first underwater museum.

The statues appeared as ghostly figures from the depths of the ocean.

The underwater museum features the sculpture of British artist Jason deCaires Taylor, who has created similar works in both Cancun, Mexico and Grenada in the West Indies.
