VIDEO Steve Harvey Announced the Wrong Winner in the Miss Universe 2015
What a night has been for the Miss Universe 2015 pageant tonight! Host Steve Harvey wrongly announced the winner, naming Miss Colombia as the new Miss Universe.
There were three contestants left: Miss USA, Miss Colombia, and Miss Philippines. Harvey called the 2nd runner-up first and called Miss USA. Next, the host announced that the winner of the Miss Universe is Miss Colombia. Everyone in the audience cheered for the new queen! She was even crowned by Miss Universe 2014, Paulina Vega.
A minute after the announcement of winner, Harvey returned to the center of the stage and said sorry. That was the hint that something was wrong. He said that he read the wrong name, and that the real winner of the Miss Universe 2015 is Miss Philippines.
Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach, who was already on the side of the stage, was shocked herself.

Harvey was very apologetic. He said that it was not the contestants’ faults but his. He claimed full responsibility for the mistake. He even showed the card on the TV screen showing that indeed Miss Philippines is the winner.
