“American Horror Story Season 6” will come in 2016.
FX has picked up another season of the anthology series from creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. It will debut in 2016; no word yet on a theme or subtitle.
“From ‘Murder House’ to ‘Hotel,’ ‘AHS’ has pioneered a new television form as well as becoming FX’s highest-rated show — while also pushing every conceivable boundary of creative excellence and audacity,” FX Networks CEO John Landgraf says in a statement.
In Live +3 ratings, FX’s measurement of choice, “Hotel” is averaging a 3.7 rating in adults 18-49 (up 7 percent from last year’s “Freak Show”) and 6.9 million viewers (up 1 percent vs. “Freak Show”). Same-day ratings have been in the mid-1s in recent weeks.
