Watchmen Series: HBO Confirms In Talks Zack Snyder

Watchmen series and HBO? It could happen. Variety reported that HBO is in early talks with Zack Snyder to develop a “Watchmen” television series. “Watchmen” is based on the superhero comic book series from DC Comics.

HBO confirmed in a statement Thursday:

“Preliminary discussions regarding ‘Watchmen’ have occurred but we have no additional information and no deals are in place.”

There was a 2009 “Watchmen” movie, which starred Jackie Earle Haley, Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup, Matthew Goode, Carla Gugino, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Patrick Wilson. You can watch the movie trailer below, director’s cut.
