Bananas Injected With Blood? Photo Gets Viral

Karisa Neels, from South Dakota, posted a photo on Facebook warning her friends about a banana she bought outside of Sioux Falls area had been “injected with blood.”

Neels posted, “Hello I would just like to share this photo of injected bananas we purchased in the Sioux falls area. I just want people to beware that this is a real problem not just a social media hype. I would advise people to use extra caution when eating and purchasing fresh fruit.”

The photo is getting viral and has been shared more than 5,000 times.

There has been no report yet of whether it was real blood or not that was found in the banana.
