Megabus Crash on I-65 Near Edinburgh, Indianapolis Injures 19

A Megabus headed from Chicago to Atlanta crashed on southbound I-65 near Edinburgh, Indianapolis early Monday, injuring at least 17 people.

Indiana State Police said the bus was involved in a crash with two cars and a semi-tractor trailer on I-65, near Edinburgh, Indiana, around 6 a.m. eastern time.

Seventeen people on the bus were hurt, but none of the injuries was considered life-threatening.

Police said it appeared the bus drove into the back of a semi-tractor trailer, pushing the truck into two cars. No one in the truck or cars was injured.

The cause of the crash was under investigation Monday morning.
