Bobcat Catching Shark: Is The Photo Real or Fake

There is a photo circulating online about a botcat catching shark in a beach. The said photo was captured by John Bailey in in Vero Beach, Florida. According to Bailey, he was walking in the Sebastian Inlet State Park Monday night when he noticed a bobcat on the beach staring into the water at a shark snacking on a smaller fish in the shallow surf. He immediately snapped a picture.

Is the bobcat catching shark photo real or fake? Some wildlife experts believe the photo is not a fake.

Officials with the Florida Wildlife Conservation said that this is normal behavior for a bobcat.

“There is no reason to believe it’s fake,” said Liz Barraco with FWC.
