How to Vote on American Idol If You Are Outside The U.S.

Are you an American who constantly travel outside the U.S. and a fan of American Idol? Are you supporting someone on Idol but cannot cast your vote because your computer will tell you that your server isn’t in the U.S.? There is a quick and easy solution to that.

Use Chrome or Firefox and the extension called ZenMate. The Zenmate extension, which you can download here, will route your traffic through a free VPN cloud network of highly secure servers. In other words, it is a proxy switcher add-on for both Chrome and Firefox. The reviews of this extension is also very good and most users said it works perfectly.

ZenMate encrypts and secures your connection. It protects your internet privacy while browsing. No tracking, wiretapping or any chance to compromise your data.

Pros:
1. Very easy to setup and use
2. Switch between proxies easily
3. Allows you to view blocked sites in certain countries
4. Surfing speed is generally fast
5. Protects privacy online

The only ‘con’ I can think of is, it requires an email address for private browsing. If you own many email addresses, use the one you less utilize, in case you don’t feel good sharing your email.

So, how can you vote on American Idol if you are outside the U.S.?

1. Download the Zenmate extension.

2. Once activated on your browser, a green shield logo appears on the upper right corner of the browser.

3. The default server might be from the country where you are now. To change and mask your location and privacy, just click the “change location” at the bottom of the ZenMate window. Pick any country you like.

That’s it. To start voting, go to google.com. Search ‘American Idol Vote’. Then start voting.
