Emma Watson UN position. Actress Emma Watson outlined the gender equality initiative in her speech in Davos Friday, talking about the overwhelming response she received when she first launched HeForShe with a powerful speech in New York City last September.

She highlighted the Impact 10x10x10 pilot project, a year-long HeForShe campaign designed to promote gender equality by working with governments, corporations and universities “and having them make concrete commitments to gender equality,” according to Watson.
