Jim Rome Apologizes For Marching Bands ‘Dorks’ Tweet

After tweeting and calling marching bands ‘dorks’, CBS Sports personality Jim Rome, posted an apology on Friday.

The controversial tweet was posted on Thursday during the Rose Bowl, “Is there anyone not in a marching band who thinks those dorks running around with their instruments are cool?”

The tweet was not fun for the marching band community.

Rome deleted the tweet and apologized.

“Band nation – I hear you. I was out of line. I apologize. I do not condone bullying of any kind and that was not my intent.”
