Sony studio did not release any comment regarding the warning, nor did an FBI spokesman or a spokesman for the National Association of Theatre Owners.

“The Interview” is about two celebrity journalists (Franco and Rogen) who landed an interview with Kim Jong-Un (Park) and are instructed by the CIA to assassinate him.

The movie hits theater December 25, 2014.
