Australian Newscaster Breaks Down On Air (VIDEO)

An Australian newscaster broke down on air when she realized that one of the victims of the Sydney hostage taking earlier this week was connected to her.

Natalie Barr, while achoring the TV program “Sunrise,” began to choke up after learning that Katrina Dawson had died during the Sydney hostage siege.

“Katrina Dawson was the sister of a prominent barrister Sandy Dawson who has done some work for Channel Seven. I know (him) and have friends who know, she was a mother of three children. I’m just finding this out this morning.”

Katrina Dawson was one of two people killed at the hostage incident inside Lindt Chocolat Cafe. Tori Johnson, the cafe’s manager, also died, according to AP.
