Confirmation Email: Group Flight Payment Received From Student Universe

studentuniverseDid anyone of you receive from Student Universe an email with the title “Confirmation Email: Group Flight Payment Received“?

The email address was valid — it came from Student Universe. The problem was, I never booked a flight, nor bought anything from Student Universe. In fact, I cancelled my subscription with them few years ago. Thus, getting an email from them informing me of a payment I did not make, immediately raised the red flag. Was Student Universe hacked?

Here’s the full content of the email:

Did you get the same email too? As a precaution, it might be helpful to inform your bank to invalidate any charges from StudentUniverse, especially if you have not booked any flight from them lately.
