Question: Are banks open on Veterans day? Tuesday, November 11, 2014 is Veterans Day, set to honor all veterans of U.S. military service and wars.

As a federal holiday, courthouses and government offices, as well as most banks, are closed on Veterans Day.

Banks will be open again the following day, Wednesday.
