Autism Gene Discovery: Studies Found Contributing Genes (VIDEO)

Newest autism gene discovery unveiled! Two recent studies have identified more than 100 genes involved in Autism spectrum disorders. The new studies zeroed in on the exact nature of the genetic mutations that cause the disorder.

Scientists are calling the findings a major turning point in understanding how mutations disrupt nerve networks in the brain. Dr. David Agus joins “CBS This Morning” from Fort Lauderdale to discuss the findings.
