Cartoon Network Censors Gay Kiss (VIDEO)

How would you react if your favorite TV channel Cartoon Network censors gay kiss? The network’s censorship happened on its comedy series ‘Clarence’, which features openly gay characters.

Watch the scene from the video below.

In the episode “Neighborhood Grill” which aired on Thursday, the two male characters are depicted kissing each other on the cheek as they greet one another in a restaurant scene. And what’s wrong with it?

The episode writer Spencer Rothbell told the Huffington Post that the kiss was originally intended to be on the lips, and one of them gave his partner flowers. However, the scene had to be changed so it can get the approval of the Cartoon Network.

“It’s such a minor throwaway moment but I guess it’s better than nothing. Maybe one day the main character can be gay and it won’t be a big deal,” Rothbell said.
