Scripted by Emily Kapnek (creator behind the recently-canceled Suburgatory), Selfie stars Doctor Who alum Karen Gillan as Eliza Dooley, a self-involved sales rep with an overbearing social media presence. In a desperate attempt to give her online image a facelift, she enlists the aid of Henry (Sleepy Hollow‘s John Cho), a marketing self-image guru. The pilot is one of the fall’s more anticipated comedy offerings, and it’s probably ABC’s best shot — alongside Manhattan Love Story — at finding a new sitcom hit.
