July 4th, Friday, is a federal holiday and banks are closed. What about on Saturday? Are banks open on July 5, 2014?

Some people may think whether or not banks and post offices will be open for business on Saturday, July 5th, or if they will be closed for the entire Fourth of July weekend. These institutions should be open on Saturday July 5 if they are normally open on Saturdays, and they should have their normal weekend hours.
