Boston Marathon 2014 Winners and Results

The 26.2-mile Boston Marathon ended on Monday’s run with approximately 36,000 runners. See the full list of the Boston Marathon 2014 winners and results below.

Update 1: The marathon is almost finished. Watch out for the list of winners in a short while.

Update 2: Ernst Van Dyk (South Africa) won the men’s wheelchair race, finishing in 1:20:36. Tatyana McFadden (United States) won her second consecutive women’s wheelchair race with a final time of 1:35:06.

Update 3: Rita Jeptoo wins 2014 Boston Marathon Women’s Race, sets course record with a finish time of 2:18:56 (unofficial). Bizunesh Deba (2:19:59 unofficial) and Mare Dibaba (2:20:34 unoffinish) finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Shalane Flanagan (USA) crosses the finish line in 7th with a personal best time. (~2:22:01)

Update 4: Meb Keflezighi (USA) leads the men’s race.

Update 5: Meb Keflezighi (USA) wins the men’s race with 2:08:37, which is a personal record. It is the fastest time for an American to win Boston Marathon.

The course record by men is held by Kenyan Geoffrey Mutai, who finished the 26.2-mile course in 2 hour, 3 minutes, 2 seconds in 2010. The fastest women’s time was run in 2002 by Kenyan Margaret Okoya, who finished in 2:20:43.
