Hand of God – NASA Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array

The image called “Hand of God” captured by NASA’s Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array or NuSTAR, is an example of pareidolia, the psychological phenomenon of perceiving familiar shapes in random or vague images.

Despite its supernatural appearance, the Hand of God was produced by natural astrophysical phenomena.
