Is Paul Walker Really Dead – Death Hoax Circulates Before The Crash

There is a photo circulating online showing actor Paul Walker who is alive and well. It even had a statement from actor’s ‘reps’ officially confirming that Paul Walker is not dead. See the image and the statement below.

Here is the viral message that appeared on November 29, 2013. (Update: It turned out to be a hoax)

“At about 11 a.m. ET on Friday (November 29, 2013), our beloved actor Paul Walker passed away. Paul Walker was born on September 12, 1973 in Glendale. He will be missed but not forgotten.”

“Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”Hundreds of fans immediately started writing their messages of condolence on the Facebook page, expressing their sadness that the talented 40-year-old actor was dead. And as usual, Twittersphere was frenzied over the death hoax.”

A day after (November 30), Walkers’ representative confirmed the actor is well and alive. Read the message below.

“On Saturday (November 30) the actor’s reps officially confirmed that Paul Walker is not dead. “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet.”

Later after the last message was posted, reports began circulating that Paul Walker indeed died, in a car crash! The breaking news were covered by almost all news networks around the world. You can read about the news here.

So is Paul Walker really dead? Did he die in a car accident. Sadly, yes. The “The Fast and the Furious” star died when a Porsche GT he was a passenger in, slammed into a post or a tree … and the car burst into flames.
