Twin Towers Costumes – Women Dress As 9/11 For Halloween (PHOTO)
What do you think of these two women dressed as 9/11 for Halloween? The Twin Towers costumes had won the top prize in a Halloween fancy dress contest at Rosies night club in Chester UK. The ladies won £150 for their outfits that included models of the two hijacked planes crashing into the New York skyscrapers and tiny model people falling to their deaths.
The nightclub has come under criticism. Here are what some people say on Facebook.
Ashley Goodall wrote: “Low! That’s not even Halloween that’s just a very bad joke, not like you’d walk around America like that.”
Andy Burns said: “That’s a bit too far that is.”
Andy Tibbett said it is “Ignorant” and Chris Alliston said “Rats.”
Millie Robinson said “Can not actually believe that someone people went as the twin towers blowing up on halloween man.”
George Borsberry said: “Rosies approve of the 9/11 killings, and gave someone £150 pounds for mocking the victims.”
The two ladies named, Ms Langford and Ms Collinge, have reportedly apologized for their offensive costumes. They were quoted saying “We never meant to be offensive, but we apologise if any offence was caused.”
