Bristol Motor Speedway Cars at the Colosseum 2013 Event
Saturday, Oct. 12 luxury cars and locally owned antiques roll into Bristol Motor Speedway for the second annual Cars at the Colosseum fundraiser. Building upon the success of last year’s Cars at the Castle, Speedway Children’s Charities not only decided to move the event for 2013 but also improve it by adding locally owned antiques, muscle cars and classic cars to the returning slate of Lamborghinis, Bentleys, Ferraris, Porsches and Rolls Royces.
The event, which raised more than $40,000 last year, kicks off Friday, Oct. 11 with an opening VIP dinner. Hosted in Bruton Smith’s suite overlooking the World’s Fastest Half Mile, guests have the opportunity to dine high above the track’s legendary high banks and take track laps in one of the event’s exotic machines. Cost to attend the dinner is $100 per person and also includes one ticket to Saturday’s car show.
On Saturday, guests are invited to browse the complete line-up of classic, exotic and luxury vehicles from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Bristol Motor Speedway infield. The Cars at the Colosseum show also includes demonstrations, vendors and a silent auction located inside the Infield Media Center. A limited number of test drives are also available the day of the event.
