Rafael Nadal Wins US Open Tennis 2013 vs Novak Djokovic

Second seed Rafael Nadal beat first seed Novak Djokovic on Monday to win the US Open Tennis 2013 title.

Nadal broke Djokovic twice in the fourth set and held on for a 6-2, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 win. This is the second U.S. Open win of Nadal’s career and his 13th career Grand Slam championship.

“Very, very emotional,” Nadal said on the court after the match. “Probably only my team knows how much it means, the match today. Playing against Novak is always a special feeling. Probably nobody brings my game to that limit like Novak does.”
