New $100 Bills Printing Mistake Can Cost $30 Million

The Federal Reserve tried to make some new $100 bills a little more secure but they ended up instead with some funny money.

The new 100 dollar bill, now with an orange color, did not come out as crisp as they need to be because of all the inks involved.

It’s not the first problem the federal government has been trying to get those new bills out since 2011. The new holograms in the inks have been creating problems along the way. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing has refused to say just how much money is literally being thrown away.
