Great Bull Run in U.S.: Texas, Florida, California, Minnesota, Illinois and Pennsylvania

bull runSpain’s famous running of the bulls is coming to several US cities, including Chicago.

It’s death defying and now the running of the bulls is coming to you. A great bull run inspired by the story pamplona arrives in Richmond, Virginia. Organizers are holding events in Georgia, Texas, Florida, California, Minnesota, Illinois and Pennsylvania.

The event first came to Cave Creek, Arizona, in 2008.

The rules are pretty simple: 24 bulls will be released in three groups. You wait for the bulls to get close to you and then run for your life literally.

They’ll be released through a chute in a crowd of hysterical participants, some will slip. Some can fall and break their leg.

The Humane Society says it’s too risky for the bulls and runners. “We do not need to put animals in harm’s way for entertainment”

According to the organizer’s website, “we don’t kill the bull in a bull fight, nor do we abuse them in any way”.

The great bull run’s organizers say 5,000 daredevils have signed on making the organizers feel bullish about bringing Bull Run to the U.S.
