Trayvon Martin Protests Continue In Its Second Day

Protests
Dozens of people gathered on the streets of Oakland, California in protest hours after a jury acquitted George Zimmerman in the death of Trayvon Martin.

The 17-year-old was shot by Zimmerman, a neighbourhood watchman, in 2012. His lawyers argued he acted in self-defence and with justifiable use of deadly force.

He was acquitted of all charges on Saturday.

Those protesting chanted “The system has failed” and called for further demonstrations.
