How will the White House remark on a petition posted on Whitehouse.gov calling the former National Security Agency contractor and whistle-blower, Edward Snowden, a “national hero”? In just two weeks, the petition asking President Barack Obama to pardon admitted state secret leaker Snowden has passed 100,000 signatures.

Edward Snowden is a national hero and should be immediately issued a a full, free, and absolute pardon for any crimes he has committed or may have committed related to blowing the whistle on secret NSA surveillance programs.

White House policy is to respond to any petition that reaches 100,000 signatures within 30 days.
