EagleMed Crash Kills One And Injures Three

The Latimer County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an EagleMed helicopter crash at the Choctaw Nation Hospital near Talihina.

A representative of the Choctaw Nation Police has confirmed that the one patient on board the helicopter has died in the accident.

The nurse on board is in serious condition and the two crew members on board were treated and released at the scene.

Bob Moore Chopper 4 pilot Jon Welsh said the area is a difficult place to take off and land due to presence of very tall trees and has a very steep approach.
