Woman Killed At Costco Shooting by Deputy (VIDEO)
A woman is killed and a Loudoun County Sheriff’s deputy was wounded after responding to a call of disorderly conduct at a Sterling-area Costco store. The Costco is located at 21398 Price Cascades Plaza. Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Liz Mills said the shooting occurred about 3 p.m. Wednesday. The deputy had been called to respond to a disorderly conduct complaint.
Loudoun County Sheriff Michael Chapman said two deputies confronted a woman that was brandishing a knife and maybe a scissors acting strangely. The deputies first hit the woman with a Tazer but it did not stop her. At that point, one deputy fired, struck and killed the woman. The second deputy was struck by a bullet in the leg, but should recover. Sheriff Chapman said it may have been a ricochet.
Mills said more circumstances of the shooting are under investigation and still being sorted out.
FOX 5 Photojournalist Jason Smith (@FOXPhotog) tweets eyewitnesses report hearing four or five gunshots. The shooting at Costco in Sterling was near the deli counter. One woman among the injured.
Mills said the shooting scene has now been determined to be safe and secure, and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Further details about the deputy’s injuries were unavailable.
Update: The woman has been identified as 38-year-old Mhai Scott.

Are you freaking kidding me right now?? I come to this article to read about the killing of a woman shot and a Sheriff’s deputy wounded at this Costco and UP POPS AN ADVERTISEMENT AND LINK TO TAKE ME TO A COSTCO PAGE TO PURCHASE ITEMS FROM THEM? And I have to click through it to read the article. I’ve seen some really low advertising tactics by corporate America in my 50 years, but this takes that to an all time low. Totally disgusting and so, so wrong. SHAME ON YOU COSTCO!!

The sherilla was an employee that worked in the pizza making dept. They must’ve caught her snagging too many pepperonis off the customer’s orders and when confronted she did a chimpout by threatening her fellow workers so they called the PoPo and when confronted she went at the PoPo with scissors and knife after being tazored which did no good so the PoPo sent her to the big celestial watermellon patch in the sky.
