Dow Closing Record Set on May 5, 2013
The Dow Jones industrial average rallied to a new record high numbers on Tuesday.
The Dow jumped more than 125 points, closing at a record high of 14,253.77 (see chart below). It has topped the prior record set in October 2007.
Earlier, the blue chip index climbed to an intraday record of 14,286.37.
