Will comedian Seth MacFarlane return as the host for the 2014 Academy Awards? According to JustJared.com, MacFarlane was asked back to host the 2014 Oscars, even with the controversial hosting this year due to jokes he made throughout the show.

Academy Awards producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron are both back for 2014, will they get MacFarlane as well?

“Given the fact that we just confirmed Craig Zadan and Neil Meron to produce, we understand how people might speculate in that fashion, but it’s really way too early to have any idea who our host might be in 2014,” an Academy spokesperson said to HuffPost.
