Woody Allen collaborator and TV writer, Mickey Rose, died Sunday at his home in Beverly Hills. He was 77.

Here are some facts about Rose:

– Ex-writing partner of Woody Allen, Mickey and Woody co-wrote: Bananas (1971), Take the Money and Run (1969) and What’s Up, Tiger Lily? (1966). Woody was the best man at Mickey’s wedding to Judy Rose. Father of actor Quincy Rose, who just appeared in Woody Allen’s, Melinda and Melinda (2004). Father to daughter Jennifer Rose and grandfather to Madeline and Noah.

– Father of actor Quincy Rose. Mickey’s daughter, Jennifer Rose, is a comedienne.

– Co-wrote a lot of Woody Allen’s early comedy routines, and is credited for writing the famous “Moose” sketch.

– Broke into television and film writing comedy routines for comedians. Frequently wrote material for Sid Caesar, Dick Van Dyke, The Smothers Brothers, Johnny Carson, Woody Allen and Rodney Dangerfield.
