It is almost Good Friday 2013. Many are asking if they can do banking on that day. So are banks open on Good Friday? Is Good Friday a federal holiday?
Good Friday is a Christian holiday commemorating the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, but it is not a federal holiday in the United States. Therefore, most services such as the post office, mail, and banking should not be disrupted.
But just to be sure your banks are open, give them a call ahead of time.
