NASA Ames Reenacts Emancipation Proclamation

In celebration of Black History Month, employees at NASA Ames re-enacted two famous events in American history – the “March on Washington” and the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation.

This year’s celebration, named “At the Crossroads of Freedom and Equality,” was held on 150th Anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, and the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington.
